A house with history
The origins of the hotel Bären are to be found in a restaurant, located at the road from Celerina to St. Moritz. It was established in 1875 by a man named Donatz to provide carriages with an opportunity to rest on their way over the Engadine road. After some eventful years of history, the house came 1924 into the possession of the family Degiacomi. They extended the business over the years with great skill. As the third generation, daughter Silvia decided to continue the hotel business.
