HOTEL BÄREN
in St. Moritz

Silvia, the manager, was very welcoming and efficient. We loved our stay here. The meals in the restaurant were delicious. The pool and fitness area are very useful. The location is ideal for hiking in the area. Everything is clean. If you really want to do laundry, there is a washer and dryer to help yourself. My spouse and I can highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time at the Hotel Bären! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious, especially considering the good prices. The staff were also very friendly and the choice of food for breakfast and dinner was excellent.

The Bären really is a great 3-star hotel. The areas where it excels are the quality and helpfulness of the staff and the first class restaurant. We ate several traditional Swiss meals during our stay in Switzerland, but the dinner at the Bären was by far the best of these. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food and the expert preparation. The hotel is relatively close to the train station, and there is a bus stop right outside the door - extremely convenient for hiking in the Engadine, which was the focus of our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. If I were to come back to St. Moritz, I would definitely choose the Bären again.

This warm and friendly hotel is one of my favorites in St Moritz. Everyone here is welcoming and pleasant, making you feel at home and comfortable. The owner has two small friendly dogs, who can regularly be seen chilling out around reception, which has a warm fire maintained all day. I have come back to the Bären with my family or on my own many times in my life, and I actually took my first steps there!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bären. We stayed for more than 2 nights and the hotel provided us with two Engadine passes that allowed us to explore the area for free (including trains, buses, and even cable cars!). This was definitely a big plus; we used the pass for many cable car and mountain railway trips. There is a lot to do in the St Moritz area and this hotel was a great base for everything. It is only a 15-minute walk from the train station (but be prepared for a steep climb), had a nice view, and was within walking distance of many restaurants.

A little further away from the absolute city center - but quite a gem. There is a free shuttle service from the train station and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool area in the building and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The restaurant is a bit pricey (compared to normal restaurants in Basel or Zurich) but that seems to be the standard for St. Moritz. We will stay here again, we are happy to have found this place! We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff. They were very helpful when it came to getting us a cab or making suggestions for restaurants in the village. Good food. Excellent choice at breakfast.
