The areas where it excels are the quality and helpfulness of the staff and the first class restaurant. We ate several traditional Swiss meals during our stay in Switzerland, but the dinner at the B\u00e4ren was by far the best of these. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food and the expert preparation. The hotel is relatively close to the train station, and there is a bus stop right outside the door &#8211; extremely convenient for hiking in the Engadine, which was the focus of our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained.
